This year’s show is scheduled for Dec. 5 and 6 at the Courtyard Marriott Grappone Conference Center in Concord, N.H.
DGT Associates Co-founder and Principal Mike Clifford, Co-founder and Principal Bob Staples, and Project Manager for Subsurface Mapping Mike Twohig will be in attendance at Booth 10 for both days of the conference.
Mike Clifford and Mike Twohig will also present a workshop session on Friday, Dec. 6, from 2-4 p.m. in the Concord Room. Their presentation is titled “Subsurface Utility Mapping: A Historical Perspective of Land Surveyors’ Role Mapping Underground.”
With the advent of modern mobile LiDAR systems, the future of 3D mapping has been clear: integrate all the above- and below-ground remote sensing systems into a single mapping platform. Mike and Mike’s presentation will focus on emerging technologies that will change the way we locate, map, store and present subsurface facilities information, including a look at risk management and utility surveying best practices from around the globe.
