City populations grow at an average of 5-7% per year. As growth continues to occur, the city infrastructure in place must be able to support the demand. Utilizing Subsurface Utility Mapping (SUM) of varying quality levels, DGT recently worked alongside Eversource, one of New England’s leading energy providers, to investigate feasible routes to connect new and existing substations to existing powerplants to improve a Boston neighborhoods electric grid.
