DGT Associates, New England’s premier surveying and civil engineering firm, is seeking a Survey Project Manager to join our Boston, Framingham, or Worcester office.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this role has advanced survey knowledge with five or more years of survey experience on complex boundary and/or construction projects. Additionally, this individual has a civil engineering or survey engineering degree with SIT, EIT, PE, or PLS (preferred, not necessary). You may be a good fit for this job if you:

Responsibilities Include:
- Perform field surveys and/or survey calculations and reports
- Oversee and maintain project documentation, history, changes, project contacts, and all technical files
- Brief survey crews and other support personnel on project requirements
- Support and oversee the safety of all survey and construction operational tasks
- Oversee and track progress and status of all assigned projects and aim to exceed client expectations
- Assist the Survey Group Manager with scheduling of survey personnel (both field and office) and inform them of any major issues, problems, or expected changes
- Communicate with clients for all scheduling concerns or changes in scope
- Attend on-site meetings with clients and/or staff
- Facilitate proposals for existing clients and new projects
- Help with survey marketing and new business development as requested
- Review field and/or office work performed for accuracy and completeness
- Share and disseminate survey-related “best practices” when available
- Train, assist and enforce DGT policies and procedures
- Safeguard DGT tools, equipment and supplies and enforce office and jobsite security
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have advanced survey knowledge with 5 or more years of survey experience on complex boundary and/or construction projects
- A civil engineering or survey engineering degree with SIT, EIT, PE or PLS is preferred, or currently pursuing professional licensure
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD, Carlson, and/or survey calculation software
- Proficiency required with MA Land Survey requirements
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Able to work in the Boston area with some travel around New England with the potential to expand further
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must be OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified or have the ability to be certified
