DGT Associates, New England’s premier surveying and civil engineering firm, is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join our Boston office.

- Have a degree in Communications, English, or a related field
- Possess 2–5 years of experience in proposal coordination, writing, or marketing, ideally in the AEC, public works, or related industry
- Excel at writing, editing, and organizing content under tight deadlines
- Are detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong project management skills
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel)
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate and develop responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and other solicitations
- Write, edit, and format proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements
- Work closely with leadership and technical staff to gather project information, resumes, and other materials
- Maintain and update proposal templates, boilerplate content, and project descriptions
- Subscribe to and monitor RFP platforms to identify new business opportunities
- Track and manage proposal deadlines and submission requirements
- Prepare qualification packages, presentations, and related marketing materials
- Ensure compliance with all RFP instructions and evaluation criteria
- Assist in maintaining a database of project information, resumes, and proposal content
- Participate in internal meetings to discuss upcoming opportunities and coordinate efforts
- Track proposal performance, analyze win/loss outcomes, and gather feedback to help inform future proposals
- Lead client and prospect communications, coordinating outreach efforts to strengthen relationships and drive engagement
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, pre-bid meetings, and other external events to build relationships with engineering firms and potential collaborators
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, or related discipline
- 2–5 years of experience in proposal writing, coordination, or marketing, preferably in the AEC or public works sector
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to interpret and follow complex RFP requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Adobe InDesign is a plus
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Comfortable working full-time, in-office (40 hours per week) in our Boston location
- Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, from technical staff to executive leadership
