DGT Associates, New England’s premier surveying and engineering firm, is hiring a Connecticut Licensed Professional Land Surveyor to fill an important leadership role and to use their talents to build and grow our new Preston, Connecticut office.

We are seeking a qualified Connecticut Licensed Professional Land Surveyor with professional experience in the private-sector residential and commercial industries, as well as public sector projects. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.


Responsibilities include:

  • Estimates and preparation of Professional Services Agreements
  • Manage and execute survey projects
  • Set up jobs for the field and provide direction for data collection
  • Oversee the preparation of final plans
  • Provide consultation to partners in engineering, architecture, law, real estate and more
  • Representation of projects before regulatory agencies and commissions
  • Deliver high-quality client service

Qualifications include:

  • Connecticut Professional Land Surveyor License
  • Expert in historical land record research
  • Expert in boundary determination
  • CAD skills required; Carlson Survey experience preferred
  • Ability to manage and perform work on numerous jobs
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills
  • Positive, solutions-oriented attitude
